This kid is smoking, drinking beer and eating a sandwich while ridin’ his trixie (trike x fixie). Impressive!
Each screenprint comes in a unique colorway due to the bunch of combinations created during printing.
To improve it I added transparent varnish on some details like the gold tooth, bottle, trixie or the outlines.

Even nowadays it is a very difficult venture to operate and resolve valvular defects – especially in the pediatric heart surgery. Conventional valvular implants are highly limited and mostly don’t bring the needed achievement.

The research group »Tissue Engineering & Biomaterials« of the Institute of Applied Medical Engineering in Aachen works on the development of completely human body’s own heart valves implants. These will be capable to regenerate and adapt itself to a growing organism.

To document these forward-looking researches I attended the employees of the institute during their daily work.

Drums and Dancers

During the time i spend in Nice for my internship I always noticed a drummer and some dancers who did their show every evening on one of the places in the city highly frequented by tourists. Instead of dancing to the playback-music coming out of a ghetto-blaster the dancers moved to the great live drum-sets of Thomas Galliano. One evening I spend some time with them and shut the group during their sessions. For more pictures check my Flickr.
